Dr. Impellizeri is a 1994 graduate of Cornell University, College of Veterinary Medicine. After an Internship at Colorado State University, five years of small animal/emergency-critical care practice and an ACVIM Oncology Residency, he became board-certified as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Specialty of Oncology) in 2005. Dr. Impellizeri is the head of the Barrymore Center for Advanced Cancer Care, which includes Targeted Electrochemotherapy and Immunotherapy with Gene-electrotransfer. He is an international lecturer on these topics, author of numerous research articles and the editor of the first inaugural textbook on Veterinary Electroporation for Cancer Treatment. Dr. Impellizeri is passionate about improving patient outcomes by actively seeking out better treatment options for our pets.
